A New Zealand E-liquid company is turning vape juice into a hand sanitizer. Max Fudakowski and Cahn Mckenzie, The founders of the company known as Lion Labs, saw the growing demand due to the spread of COVID-19. Using their expertise and the cleaning materials available to them, they decided to create their own. Already disapproving of the recent price gouging and scalping of these products, Cahn Mckenzie got the idea from his mother who is a nurse.
Although Lion Labs emphasizes producing E-liquid, the founders identify as “contract manufacturers that do the chemical processing, with the main focus on E-liquid”.Due to government regulations on the vape industry, Lion Labs was facing uncertainty from many long time clients, however, with their innovation in manufacturing hand sanitizer, they have been able to keep their business alive.
